Our recommendation for ventilation products

If you are looking for a quality ventilation system for your home, we recommend Envirovent. There are a number of reasons that Envirovent is the best forced air ventilation system on the market...
  • Simplicity - we install it, you forget it and it works! It is fully automated requiring no intervention
  • 5 year guarantee
  • Super efficient low watt brushless DC motor; means it’s ‘up to’ 5 cents per day to run the fan – excludes the heater
  • Built in heater - not in the ducting but safely mounted in the main box itself to temper the air only when required
  • Very Quiet; 21 to 30 dB @1 meter
  • If you have a warm roof space you will be using this FREE heat to warm your home in winter. In summer when the heat is excessive the intelligent Envirovent will automatically shut down until the temperature cools to a comfortable level. We do not mislead our customers into thinking that a forced air ventilation system heats your home, they can only do this if the attic air is warmer than the air in your house however usually on winter evenings when you need the warmth this is not the case. In fact if you have heaters on and the air in your house is warmer than the attic then a forced air system will ever so slightly cool your house. However a forced air ventilation system will dry out your home and a dryer home is easier to heat and feels more comfortable than a damp home.A forced air ventilation system will dry out your home and a dryer home is easier to heat and feels more comfortable than a damp home.
  • A single central outlet means no ducting run all through your roof space to be damaged over time.
  • G4 filter also guaranteed for 5 years
  • Green Star; ALL components that make up the Envirovent can be recycle
This unit is installed for only $1899 (incl GST) - contact Hines Electrical to get Envirovent installed in your home.

Reduces condensation and mould by blowing dry attic air into the house reducing the moisture content in the air. Works best in older or well ventilated houses
Reduces condensation and mould by circulating the air in the house (removing old air and introducing fresh air) with the added advantage of transferring the heat from the outgoing air into the incoming air
Reduces condensation and mould by circulating air and in DRY mode dehumidifies. Also provides the most efficient form of heating available, can be used to dehumidify and for summer cooling. (Note; serious condensation problematic houses may also need a ventilation system).
If condensation and mould is your primary concern then this is probably your best and most cost effective option for older homes.

We can install an Envirovent for $1899.00 Inc GST.
This option will save you on heating costs and will circulate the air in your house introducing fresh cleaned outside air no matter how well closed up your house is, making it the best option for reducing condensation and allergies in your house. Also great for newer "sealed" homes.

We can install Mitsubishi Electric's Lossnay Ducted Fresh Air HRV energy recovery system for $3000.
If you can afford it then this is probably your best option as it gives you the most efficient form of home heating available, evenly warming or cooling the whole of your home. Ducted systems are best left running 24/7 and set to automatically change the set point temperature at various times of the day. You would want to be sure your house was well insulated if considering a ducted system.

Individual Heat Pumps or "Split Systems" are a great way to provide spot heating or cooling to individual rooms and are also extremely efficient to run, however they do not provide any form of ventilation but they work even better when combined with a ventilation system.
